Dear Students and Parents,
This post will provide information on specific grade 2 science expectations.
Students:
Click on the title "Science Expectations" to access the link on reversible changes. Once you are there, click on the "OK" button to try the experiment!
Remember: You can use your notes from class to help make predictions. What do you think will happen?
Parents:
According to the Ontario Curriculum Standards and Expectation number 2s40- 2.3, students must "investigate, through experimentation, interactions that occur as a result of mixing and/or dissolving liquid and solids (eg., salt and water, sand and water), liquids and liquids (eg., oil and water), and solids and solids (eg., salt and sand)."
This link should be used as a resource, to help students remember our experiments in class, and to gain a deeper understanding of changes of liquids and solids when mixed or disolved.
